As it's upstairs, you'd NEVER go to this wee place, by accident. One of the local musicians suggested we go, so glad we did. This is a small, packed but fantastic place. The antithesis of a 'chain' but unquestionably, what visiting a Bar in the Highlands should be all about. The Singer Robin was very different, everyone was signing along and loving it. Inverness now has lots of 'must go to' pubs. This is one of them.
Wanted to spend NYE in here but was SO Loud, I'm in my 30s and been to many gigs but this was genuinely painful for my ears. People around us were stuffing tissue in their ears just to bear the noise. We had to leave after 3 songs. Support act (pictured) was great and helped create a great atmosphere before the onslaught of the main act. Pub is small so don't know why they needed all the speakers, they even said after the first song they were asked to turn it down but honestly I think they turned it up. Difficult to get to the bar when busy. Found better alternative to celebrate NYE. Shame as I wanted to stay in this one.
Great mix of people. No football. Diverse jukebox - Carter Sisters to Alestorm
Absolutely lovely. Need to stop in and hang with the locals. Very welcoming and inviting! Nice pub with the grunge feel!
been there for a couple of whiskeys. Good selection, great value for money but especially great atmosphere: friendly staff and lovely patrons! The type of bar I would get a loyal patron if living here
